About The Position

Skillforce is hiring Commercial Sprinkler Fitters for ongoing project work at a major data center construction site near Chester, VA. This is steady fire protection work, cutting and running threaded pipe and setting heads on new construction. This is steady long-term work on a large commercial data center build in the Chester, VA area.

Requirements

• 2 plus years sprinkler or pipefitting
• Able to read sprinkler shop drawings
• Reliable transportation required
• Must pass background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

• NICET or fire sprinkler experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Install fire sprinkler and standpipe systems
• Cut, thread, and run screw pipe
• Assemble and hang pipe to shop drawings
• Set sprinkler heads, fittings, and risers
• Commercial and industrial new construction
