Vertex Pharmaceuticals•Boston, MA

About The Position

The Vertex Commercial Analytics, Market Access Co-Op is a six-month experiential training program for students pursuing an undergraduate or advanced degree in engineering, statistics, analytics, STEM, or a related field. The co-op works with the US Market Access analytics team, which supports market access strategy, trade and distribution, revenue forecasting, and pricing teams. Its analytics help commercial business units address patient access to Vertex products through health plans, pharmacies, and sites of care. The co-op will work on forecasting and regression projects to identify drivers and barriers to patient access for Vertex’s pain and cystic fibrosis portfolio. The first few weeks include training on US pharmaceutical and market access dynamics. The role involves several short initiatives, generally lasting three to four weeks, and reports to the Market Access Data Analytics Lead. The co-op will learn about data assets and business dynamics, create analytics scripts and reports, and manage tasks in collaboration with the Data Governance Lead. This is a full-time, paid co-op scheduled for January through July 2027, requiring 40 hours per week. The role is hybrid in Boston, with three days per week on-site and ad hoc flexibility. It is a temporary role through a third-party agency partner; the selected individual will be employed by that agency, which will present compensation, benefits, and other employment terms upon offer. The stated co-op pay is $25.00–$35.00 per hour.
