About The Position

The Commercial Analytics Co-op supports the commercial team by analyzing market data, tracking performance metrics, and developing insights to inform business decisions. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the role focuses on PTx’s products Leukine® and BIZENGRI®. This high-visibility position provides hands-on experience in pharmaceutical analytics and the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world business challenges. The co-op engages with leaders across the commercial organization, including marketing, market access, clinical, CMC, supply chain, and commercial operations.

Requirements

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Completed sophomore year of undergraduate education toward a four-year degree.
Must be a Massachusetts resident or attend an accredited college or university located in Massachusetts.
Experience using Excel and manipulating large data sets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including solid English-language communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Interest in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills for cross-functional engagement.
Willingness and ability to clearly express opinions, ask questions, and actively participate in cross-functional meetings.
Proficiency with MS Office products, especially Word and Excel, and ability and willingness to quickly adopt other job-specific applications.
Passion for oncology and commitment to making a positive impact in patients’ lives.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of work experience.
Experience working with healthcare EHR, claims, and sales data.
Familiarity with data visualization tools.
Understanding of statistical concepts.
Software expertise in PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

Collect, organize, and analyze commercial and market data for Leukine® and BIZENGRI®.
Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators.
Support forecasting and business planning activities.
Perform competitive analyses and market research.
Assist in analyzing sales trends and customer behavior.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business questions.
Prepare presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
Participate in meetings with leaders across the commercial organization.
Adhere to applicable regulations and requirements, including compliance, company policies, and employment-related laws and statutes.
Complete mandatory training within required timeframes.
