About The Position

This position applies the final coats of stain, lacquer, and other finishes to furniture. The employee follows the work order, finish schedule, and color panel to complete the finishing process from start to finish, using a spray gun and adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist throughout the day.
• Must be able to perform frequent repetitive motions involving grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine hand manipulation.
• Must frequently reach at, above, or below shoulder level.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. rarely.

• Previous finishing experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow work-order instructions for the finish required on each product.
• Use a spray gun to apply finish to products.
• Follow the finish schedule and color panel through the finishing process from start to finish.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
