About The Position

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Spot Welder Operator. This role involves operating spot welding machinery to join thin metal sheets or components in a manufacturing or assembly environment. The operator will be responsible for setting up and adjusting welding equipment, using jigs and fixtures to position parts, inspecting finished welds for quality, and maintaining a safe work area. Basic machine maintenance and reporting of equipment issues are also part of the duties.

Requirements

• Previous basic machine operating experience preferred.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to follow blueprints, work instructions, and production guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or assembly setting.
• Reliable attendance and ability to follow safety protocols at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate spot welding machinery to join thin metal sheets or components in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Set up welding equipment and adjust machine settings as needed for production requirements.
• Use jigs, fixtures, and blueprints to properly position parts prior to welding.
• Inspect finished welds and perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area while following all established safety procedures.
• Assist with basic machine maintenance and report equipment issues as needed.
