About The Position

The Sportsbook Ticket Writer works in the Sportsbook area, greeting guests and accurately processing betting transactions. The role involves entering betting information into the system, printing tickets, accepting money, and providing tickets and change. Writers ask guests to verify ticket accuracy before leaving the window and maintain their bank throughout the shift and at closing, including making change, paying out winnings, and exchanging money. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with day and swing shifts available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous money-handling experience.
• Mathematical ability in addition and subtraction to accurately pay and collect funds.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 31–40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of experience in a gaming environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and accurately enter betting information into the system.
• Print tickets, accept money, and provide tickets and change to guests.
