About The Position
This position is for a High School Teaching/Sports Medicine role. The application deadline is May 23, 2026. The salary will follow the Teacher Salary Schedule (columns marked "A") for 190 days. Applicants must be eligible for a South Carolina teaching certificate. Contact the South Carolina Department of Education for certification information and review the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Work-Based Certification information. A negative tuberculosis (TB) test result is required before employment begins. If a TB test result is not available, a statement indicating you will provide it at new hire orientation must be uploaded. For current BCSD employees, this statement should be uploaded. TB test results must be submitted at new hire orientation without exceptions.
Requirements
- Eligible for South Carolina teaching certificate.
- Valid teaching certificate (SC or out of state) or Eligibility Letter from SCDE.
- Confidential references posted.
- Negative tuberculosis (TB) test result or statement of provision at new hire orientation.
- Complete and submit an online application.
- Upload required documents to Frontline.
