About The Position

This position assists with the day-to-day operations of the SNU Sports Medicine Department, including staffing daily training room hours and practice/game coverage. The role requires adherence to SNU, GAC, and NCAA guidelines to ensure student-athletes receive an exceptional collegiate experience while competing for championships. The individual must demonstrate a strong Christian commitment, a vital Christian faith and lifestyle, and be supportive of the evangelical Mission of Southern Nazarene University.

Requirements

  • Highly organized and skilled in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine with BOC certification.
  • Ability to solve problems and work under pressure.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college experience in Sports Medicine
  • Experience in higher education settings

Responsibilities

  • Medical coverage for a variety of sports for home games.
  • Travel to away games to provide support for home team staff.
  • Daily communication with head coaches for injury updates.
  • Assist in daily training room coverage and rehab assignments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
