About The Position

Under the direction of the Assistant Manager, Macdonald Campus Recreation, the Sports Instructor will be responsible for planning and leading the designated sport group lessons to the registered patrons. The sport in question will range from beginners to advanced levels.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 3 Years Related Experience
• Fluent in English
• Must be authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
• Knowledge of English: Level 4 (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.

Nice To Haves

• First Aid and CPR C Certification recommended
• Minimum 1 year of experience instructing the specific sport
• basic spoken French

Responsibilities

• Lead designated sport group lessons and private lessons.
• Adapt lessons for the specific groups - ranging from beginners to advanced.
• As required, modify moves, and techniques for patrons who may have limitations.
• Address any emergency issues requiring attention to supervisor or security.
