About The Position

Conducts Sports Wagering in a gambling establishment by performing duties such as processing wagers from casino guests. May also be required to perform Off Track Betting duties. Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures. Learns and conditions tickets, reconditioning them if changed. Receives, verifies, and records cash wagers of guests. Redeems winning tickets by scanning them, calculating winnings, and paying guests. Maintains accurate ticket and cash transactions, high-quality guest service, and guest rapport. Ensures control and protection of company assets and maintains a good attendance record. This job description does not list all duties; management may assign other duties as instructed.

Requirements

  • Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 1-year prior experience in working with public in a cash-handling environment.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft programs and other computer software (POS system).
  • Ability to handle cash accurately.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with management and team members.
  • Skilled in solving practical problems and dealing with situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled in identifying and resolving administrative problems under pressure.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Class III Gaming License.
  • Knowledge of Title 31 regulations.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass a math test.
  • Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for Business Levels.
