About the Role We're looking for an enthusiastic Gymnastics Educator to lead after-school gymnastics classes for elementary school students in Selma, California. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, has a background in gymnastics, and is passionate about creating a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- Ability and willingness to complete 3+ hours of required online training before the program begins
Nice To Haves
- Previous gymnastics coaching, teaching, or competitive gymnastics experience preferred
- Experience working with children is highly preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
Responsibilities
- Lead structured gymnastics classes for elementary-aged students
- Ensure student safety while teaching fundamental gymnastics skills
- Create an encouraging and inclusive learning environment
- Plan age-appropriate activities that promote coordination, confidence, and physical development
- Manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
- Maintain accurate attendance and communicate any incidents when necessary
- Prepare and organize equipment before and after each class
