About The Position
HOKALI is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Gymnastics Educator to lead after-school gymnastics programs for elementary school students. This role is for instructors passionate about gymnastics, who enjoy working with children, and are committed to creating a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment. The Gymnastics Educator will teach age-appropriate gymnastics fundamentals and movement skills to students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade, ensuring student safety and well-being at all times. The role involves fostering confidence, coordination, balance, flexibility, and teamwork through gymnastics instruction, planning and leading engaging classes and skill-building activities, and adapting instruction to different ages, skill levels, and learning styles. The educator will also facilitate positive social interactions, encourage teamwork, manage student behavior using positive reinforcement, and maintain accurate attendance and incident records. Additionally, they will prepare and organize equipment and activity materials, keeping the learning space clean and safe.
Requirements
- 18+ years of age.
- Experience in gymnastics, coaching, cheer, tumbling, or a related discipline.
- Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR).
- Authorization to work in the US.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
