About The Position

The Sports Coordinator is a critical game-day role responsible for enforcing rules, cultivating a positive culture, coaching on the field, and advocating for the programs. The role directly impacts players, coaches, and spectators. Coordinators help provide a fun, safe, and positive youth sports experience for athletes ages 3–12.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
• Be a highly motivated self-starter who can work independently.
• Be able to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings, for the full season of approximately seven weeks.
• Be at least 16 years old.
• Pass a National Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Understand and enforce i9 Sports rulebooks while ensuring fun, learning, and safety for all players.
• May lead practice sessions focused on fundamentals and skill development.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values.
• Keep time and score during games and officiate or referee.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
• Help set up and break down fields on game day.
