About The Position

Join Sofive Soccer Centers as a Sport Associate Soccer Referee at Sofive Upland. You will officiate league and tournament games and provide exceptional service to players. As a point of contact for Sofive customers on the fields, you will help ensure fair and safe play.

Requirements

• Knowledge of soccer rules and regulations.
• Understanding of game management and conflict resolution.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to make confident and impartial decisions under pressure.
• Attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
• Ability to see and hear clearly to make accurate calls.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a soccer referee.
• Certification as a referee through U.S. Soccer or another governing body.

Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled games promptly and enforce game rules effectively.
• Manage game pace to balance safety and competitiveness.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with coaches, players, and other officials.
• Keep accurate records of game scores, fouls, and player participation.
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Attend training sessions and certification courses as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
