About The Position

First Horizon Bank is hiring a Sponsorship Marketing Coordinator to assist with managing the activation and fulfillment of its strategic partnership portfolio. The role focuses on aligning the brand with impactful events and causes to drive growth and deepen customer engagement. This position requires an exceptional organizer who can balance high-level marketing goals with the tactical details of partnership fulfillment. It is a solution-oriented role for an individual with a strong background in marketing coordination and relationship management, responsible for ensuring all sponsorship obligations are met seamlessly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field
  • Experience in sponsorships, events or regional activations.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-standing partnerships
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as CRM platforms, event marketing software a plus
  • Proficient in marketing tools and platforms (CRM platform, Microsoft Office, project management software)

Nice To Haves

  • Financial or related industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial marketing compliance standards a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sponsorship Manager in the development and execution of sponsorship strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the sponsorship portfolio, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and priorities are tracked and met.
  • Maintain sponsorship calendars, asset trackers, and documentation across all partnerships.
  • Oversee execution of onsite activations, co-branded promotions and sponsored events.
  • Coordinate logistics for on-site activations, including vendor management, asset shipping, staffing support, and run-of-show development.
  • Assist in execution of co-branded promotions, sweepstakes, and sponsored events across markets.
  • Ensure activations are executed seamlessly and in alignment with brand standards.
  • Track and manage all sponsorship assets and contractual deliverables to ensure full utilization of benefits.
  • Coordinate with partners to secure assets such as signage, digital placements, tickets, and hospitality opportunities.
  • Support quality control to ensure all brand placements meet First Horizon standards.
  • Support communication with sponsorship partners, agencies, and vendors to ensure smooth execution and strong relationships.
  • Assist in preparing materials for partner meetings, recaps, and ongoing communications.
  • Help address day-to-day partner needs and requests.
  • Assist in tracking sponsorship budgets, invoices, and expenses to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Support measurement and reporting efforts, including tracking ROI and KPIs such as lead generation, engagement, and brand impact.
  • Help compile post-event recaps and performance summaries.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Marketing, Community Relations, Public Relations, and local markets to support sponsorship/activation and amplification efforts.
  • Assist in ensuring sponsorships are integrated across channels (social, digital, email, in-market signage, etc.).
  • Support internal communication and alignment across stakeholders.
