About The Position

Lozier Corporation is a leading manufacturer of shelving and storage systems for retail and warehouse industries. The Sponsorship for the Trades program is designed for current high school seniors graduating in Spring 2027. This program offers a pathway to a career in skilled trades without college loan debt. Participants will earn an associate degree from Metropolitan Community College's (MCC) Industrial and Commercial Trades Program, specializing in either CNC and Tool and Die Technology (PMTAS) or Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technology (EMAAS). The program includes hands-on experience at Lozier, paid tuition, textbooks, tools, and a toolbox. Upon graduation, participants are guaranteed a full-time position at Lozier.

Requirements

  • Must be a current high school senior graduating in Spring 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, layout and perform all bench and machine operations to service, repair and maintain the tools, dies and machine equipment used in various departments.
  • Construct simple dies and fixtures as well as replacement parts.
  • Perform general maintenance work on machines, including all types of building maintenance.
  • Gain skills in welding and in the use of the tools necessary to do electrical, plumbing and heating work.
