About The Position
Spiritual Life Intern (Unpaid) Are you looking to gain meaningful, hands-on experience while making a difference in your community? As a Spiritual Life Intern, you’ll support the emotional and spiritual well-being of individuals and families in our programs while learning directly from experienced staff. This is a great opportunity for students interested in nonprofit work, ministry, or human services.
Requirements
- Current college student (preferred majors: social work, psychology, ministry, human services, or related fields)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Interest in helping others and working in a mission-driven environment
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
Responsibilities
- Build supportive, professional relationships with residents
- Provide compassionate, non-judgmental listening under staff guidance
- Assist with chapel services, Bible studies, devotionals, and fellowship activities
- Help plan and facilitate weekly programs and special events
- Support pastoral care efforts (e.g., visits, coordination, as appropriate)
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Follow organizational policies, including safety procedures
