About The Position

Walsh Jesuit High School is seeking a part-time Spirit Shop Associate to drive sales and create a welcoming environment by assisting shoppers with product selection, processing transactions, and maintaining store displays. The hours of this position will average approximately 20 hours per week, with a flexible retail schedule that may vary based on volume. This role requires occasional evenings and weekends, particularly during home football games and other special events. This is a 12-month position and works during the summer months.

Requirements

Previous retail experience preferred
Proficiency with Shopify preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service

Responsibilities

Assist parents, faculty, students, and visitors with purchases
Foster a welcoming and positive shopping experience
Process payments, returns, and exchanges accurately
Work special events including home football games
Receive and tag merchandise
Assist with physical inventory
Restock shelves, maintain attractive product displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean and organized
Embrace, display, and support Catholic/Christian values and spiritual formation.
Regular participation in Ignatian formation activities including the school’s formal formation program, school masses, retreats, and other activities/events as scheduled.
