About The Position

The Spice Production Associate – Blender is responsible for performing the tasks necessary to achieve product blending goals safely and efficiently, in accordance with written procedures and production instructions. The role ensures blending operations are performed accurately and meet company quality and safety standards. The position is located in Theodore, Alabama, in the Production–Spice department, with a scheduled shift of 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED with basic math and reading skills.
Ability to follow recipes, production instructions, and food safety procedures accurately.
Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to distinguish colors and safely perform physical production duties.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb stairs or ladders.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and push or pull materials using appropriate equipment.

Responsibilities

Stage and verify recipe ingredients before blending.
Mix and blend ingredients accurately and efficiently to meet product specifications.
Monitor ingredients and product consistency throughout the blending and bulking process.
Complete required production documentation to ensure accuracy and traceability.
Communicate production progress, concerns, and needs with supervisors and team members.
Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and follow GMP, food safety, Quality, FDA, and OSHA requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
