About The Position
We are seeking a Speech Therapy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) during treatments, help with formal documentation, prepare materials, and perform clerical duties. You will also prepare therapy materials and/or equipment for use in therapy activities. Under the direction of the SLP, you will implement therapy plans designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral-motor control for speech production, vocalization, and the use of assistive technology devices for communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- SLPA License (LBESPA)
Nice To Haves
- ASHA SLPA Certification (C-SLPA)
Responsibilities
