About The Position
MVH is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to join the rehab team at our Scarborough facility. The SLP evaluates and treats residents; communicates with residents, families, physicians, and other health team members; maintains documentation of services in the EMR; and conducts in-services and training for facility staff, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and MVH policies and procedures. You would be joining a therapy team that is highly skilled and integrated throughout the facility. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited SLP program
- Possesses a minimum of a Master’s Degree in SLP
- Must have current State of Maine licensure as a SLP
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care environment preferred
