About The Position

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing quality language and communication services. This includes assessment, therapeutic treatment planning, and service delivery using best practice treatment modalities for children. The role focuses on facilitating age-appropriate independence in gross motor coordination, balance, strengthening activities, and motor planning. The SLP will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress through data analysis, and make necessary modifications. They will also demonstrate and model effective intervention strategies, provide coaching and consultation to staff for continuity and generalization across settings, and collaborate with the team. A key responsibility is assessing, recommending, and implementing appropriate communication modalities and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and supports to meet individual communication needs of children.

Requirements

  • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
  • Experience with children or adults with varying exceptionalities
  • Pass a criminal background check, employment physical and drug screen
