About The Position

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide therapy and support to patients with speech and communication challenges. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and administering personalized treatment plans, and adjusting treatment as needed. The Speech Pathologist tracks and documents patient performance, progress, and response to treatment, and supports patients in achieving progress. The position is part of a collaborative inpatient rehabilitation organization that offers access to technology and career growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Current state licensure or certification required by state regulations; must possess a current state license in Speech Therapy.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR/BLS certification is required, or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and administer personalized treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment when necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
