About The Position

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to provide speech and language rehabilitation to patients. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and administering personalized treatment plans, adjusting treatment when needed, and tracking and documenting patient performance and progress. The Speech Pathologist works in a supportive, collaborative rehabilitation environment and helps patients overcome communication challenges.

Requirements

• Current state licensure or certification required by applicable state regulations; must possess a current state license in Speech Therapy.
• Successful completion of the SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR/BLS certification, or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or a bachelor’s degree with field experience.

• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and administer personalized treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment when necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Support and celebrate patients’ progress and achievements.
