About The Position

Rehabilitation Hospital of Montana, jointly operated with Lifepoint Health, Billings Clinic, and St. Vincent Healthcare, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide patient care in its inpatient rehabilitation setting. The hospital’s individualized rehabilitation programs support people recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

The Speech Pathologist assesses speech, language, and swallowing abilities; develops and implements treatment plans based on patient needs; educates patients and families about therapy goals; documents evaluations, treatments, and progress; and collaborates with healthcare teams to coordinate care. Other duties may be assigned.

The position requires a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a current SLP license, ASHA certification, and CPR certification. The hospital is a 34-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility in Billings, Montana, and is accredited by The Joint Commission.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Educate patients and families about therapy goals.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
