About The Position
ChristianaCare's Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital is seeking a per diem Speech Language Pathologist to join their Rehabilitation Team. This role involves assessing and treating adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The center is recognized for its innovative facility, state-of-the-art equipment, and focus on patient-family centered care with an interdisciplinary team approach. The position requires a minimum of two weekend days per month, with the possibility of picking up additional weekday or weekend shifts. Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CF Certification
- CPR Certification
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time frames
- Provide patient and family education and training
