About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking a Physical Therapist to work at the Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital. This full-time position is part of a dynamic team that treats and provides therapy for individuals requiring rehabilitation after injury or disease. The therapist establishes treatment programs with goals, and completes documentation related to patient care, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Weekends and holidays are required as needed. The Center for Rehabilitation offers state-of-the-art equipment, therapeutic technology and techniques, and real-life skill simulation environments to help patients increase strength and skills as they prepare to return home. The center provides personalized care and specializes in helping patients and families recover from amputation, brain injury, cancer complications, fractures, orthopedic conditions, joint replacement, neurologic disorders, spinal cord injuries, stroke, and trauma. The team encourages active learning and supports a student affiliation program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- CPR certification.
- Current Delaware license or eligibility for a Delaware license.
