About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for the Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital. The role involves treating patients who require rehabilitation after an injury or disease process and providing therapy as part of a dynamic team. The center features state-of-the-art equipment, therapeutic technology and techniques, and real-life skill simulation environments to help patients build strength and skills as they prepare to return home. The Physical Therapist establishes appropriate treatment programs with goals, and completes patient-care documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries. The center provides personalized rehabilitation for people with needs related to amputation, brain injury, cancer complications, fractures, orthopedic conditions, joint replacement, neurologic disorders, spinal cord injuries, stroke, and trauma. The organization supports active learning and has a student affiliation program. Weekend and holiday work is required as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- CPR certification.
- Current Delaware license or eligibility for a Delaware license.
