About The Position

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide speech and language rehabilitation to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and administering personalized treatment plans, adapting therapy when needed, and documenting each patient's performance and progress. The Speech Pathologist supports patients as they work through communication challenges and celebrates their progress. Requirements

• Current state license or certification required by state regulations; a current state license in Speech Therapy is specified.
• Successful completion of the SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR/BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred; alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and administer personalized treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment when necessary.
