About The Position
Southcoast Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to perform diversified patient care and related duties within and in support of the Rehabilitation Services Department, under the direction of an individually assigned Team Leader, Rehabilitation Services, or designee. The position is based at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and also includes coverage at Tobey Hospital. The role is per diem, with day shifts that vary and a rotation requirement of one weekend shift every fourth week, one minor holiday, and one major holiday. Pay is based on experience, with a stated range of $41.21 to $62.34 per hour.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-ASHA) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
- Current Massachusetts license in Speech Pathology.
- CPR certification.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for and sign a statement of exemption for medical or personal reasons upon hire.
