About The Position
Southcoast Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide patient care and related support within the Rehabilitation Services Department. The role is performed under the direction of an individually assigned Team Leader, Rehabilitation Services, or designee. This per diem position is based at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and includes coverage at Tobey Hospital. The schedule is a day shift with one weekend shift every fourth week, plus one minor and one major holiday shift; shift times may vary.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-ASHA) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
- Current Massachusetts license in Speech Pathology.
- CPR certification.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or qualify for and sign a statement of exemption for medical or personal reasons.

- One year of experience is preferred.
