Speech Language Pathologist | Inpatient Therapies
About The Position
CentraCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join the inpatient team at St. Cloud Hospital. The role evaluates, diagnoses, and treats adult patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders related to neurological, medical, surgical, and trauma-related conditions. The position collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes and support safe discharge planning. The role is onsite, with full-time schedules of 64, 72, or 80 hours every two weeks, or part-time schedules of 32, 40, or 48 hours every two weeks. Schedules are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with every fifth weekend and rotating holidays. Starting pay begins at $81,032.05 per year and increases with experience. The stated annual salary range is $79,123.20–$118,664.00, based on 1.0 FTE; reduced FTE results in a prorated offer rate. Eligible candidates may qualify for hiring incentives, student loan repayment, and relocation assistance. Requirements
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited university.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card, per established policy.
- Current State of Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist registration.
- Certificate of Clinical Competencies (CCCs) from ASHA, or certification upon completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year.
