About The Position
Southcoast Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide patient care and related services within the Rehabilitation Services Department. Under the direction of an individually assigned Team Leader, Rehabilitation Services, or designee, the Speech Pathologist performs diversified patient care and related duties in support of the department. The role is per diem, based at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and includes coverage at Tobey. The schedule is a day shift with one weekend shift every four weeks and one minor and one major holiday; the shift may vary. Pay is $55.00 per hour, with the rate determined based on experience.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-ASHA) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
- Current Massachusetts license in Speech Pathology.
- CPR certification.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for and sign a statement electing an exemption for medical or personal reasons.
