About The Position
Come join us at St. Cabrini Nursing Home! We are a 304-bed, Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility founded in 1974 in continuation of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini’s legacy of serving those in need through works of healing, teaching, caring and giving. We are seeking to hire a Speech/Language Pathologist - Perdiem.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
- NYS Speech/Language License.
Nice To Haves
- 3 years of SLP experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate all residents with speech/language/swallowing problems.
- Submit written report of the results of the evaluation.
- Provide speech/language/swallowing therapy.
- Maintain statistical record of the residents’ attendance at the therapy sessions.
- Provide teaching and clinical supervision to students of speech/language/pathology.
- Provide in-service training to nursing staff members, families and staff.
- Attend staff conferences on resident care.
- Attend all department meetings, in-services, as requested family conferences.
