About The Position

The Speech-Language Pathology Program is seeking a Work Study student to assist with tasks related to the Speech and Language Anatomy lab class and other administrative duties. This role involves supporting faculty and staff with lab preparation, student assistance during lab sessions, and general office tasks. The position requires flexibility to accommodate the student's class schedule, with a specific need on Thursdays in the afternoon/evening during Fall Session 2.

Requirements

  • Must be a student in good academic standing.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Self-starter.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Docs, and MS Word.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing cadavers and other specimens for the Anatomy lab class.
  • Help students identify anatomical structures during lab sessions.
  • Clean up the anatomy lab after sessions.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by SLP staff/faculty.
  • Assist with other administrative items for the Speech-Language Pathology Program.
