About The Position

Gannon University’s Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences seeks adjunct faculty to teach one or more graduate-level courses during the 2026 spring and/or summer semesters. Faculty collaborate with colleagues, provide classroom and clinic instruction, and guide students along career pathways. Candidates should demonstrate competence in diverse teaching methods and effective use of virtual course offerings designed to engage students. Advanced teaching and clinical expertise in motor speech disorders, fluency disorders, and/or voice and resonance disorders is preferred for spring courses. Teaching experience related to professional issues and ethics is preferred for summer courses. The position requires meeting the physical demands associated with teaching a post-baccalaureate or graduate-level course virtually.

Requirements

• PhD or EdD as a terminal degree in speech-language pathology or a related field.
• Graduate-level teaching experience in courses related to motor speech disorders, fluency, and/or voice and resonance disorders across the lifespan.
• Recent virtual or online teaching experience in a higher-education program, in addition to in-classroom teaching experience.
• Ability to meet the physical demands associated with teaching a post-baccalaureate or graduate-level course virtually.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching and clinical expertise in motor speech disorders, fluency disorders, and/or voice and resonance disorders for spring courses.
• Teaching experience related to professional issues and ethics for summer courses.
• Recent clinical practice experience with patients with communication disorders.
• Recent graduate-level clinical instruction experience.
• Case-based teaching experience.
