About The Position

AnthroMed Education is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in private day school programs throughout Prince George’s County. This is a part-time opportunity of 1–2 days per week, making it a great fit for an SLP looking for a flexible school-based role while still making a meaningful impact on students. In this role, you’ll collaborate with private day school staff and school-based teams to support students receiving special education services. You’ll provide clinical expertise throughout the evaluation and IEP process and help ensure students receive appropriate speech-language supports.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Maryland SLP license required.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and comfortably across multiple school settings.
  • Flexibility and adaptability when working in shared office spaces and different school environments.

Nice To Haves

  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Attend IEP meetings for students enrolled in private day school programs.
  • Conduct speech-language assessments and participate in the evaluation process as needed.
  • Review student records and relevant information to help determine speech-language needs.
  • Collaborate with private day school staff and school-based IEP teams.
  • Provide clinical recommendations regarding speech-language goals, services, and supports.
  • Offer speech-language expertise to help IEP teams determine appropriate services.
  • Communicate effectively with educators, related service providers, and other members of the student support team.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and follow school-based procedures.
