About The Position

The Archdiocese of St. Louis is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary and Middle School Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will foster academic growth, spiritual development, and a love for learning while integrating Catholic values throughout the curriculum.

The role includes creating engaging, standards-aligned instruction and a positive, inclusive classroom; assessing student progress and providing feedback and support; collaborating with colleagues, parents, and school leadership; participating in faith-based activities and professional growth opportunities; and modeling Catholic teachings in daily interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification, or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong understanding of Catholic teachings and commitment to integrating faith into the curriculum.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Nurturing, enthusiastic, and mission-driven approach to education, with a passion for helping students achieve their full potential.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree.
• Previous teaching experience in elementary or middle school settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans that incorporate Catholic teachings and values.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and offer necessary academic support.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success and a team-oriented approach.
• Participate in school-wide activities, including faith-based events and initiatives, and model Catholic teachings in daily interactions.
• Participate in ongoing professional growth opportunities and school community engagement activities.
