About The Position
Theracare is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a PRN/Part-Time position. This role involves evaluating and treating patients in various settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, and Home Health Care. The Speech/Language Pathologist will work as part of a dedicated therapy team, providing support and information within the field of Speech/Language Pathology. Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current state license/certification
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
- Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with physician's orders.
- Utilize therapeutic procedures to improve speech, language, swallowing, and hearing disorders.
- Work as a member of a team, providing support and information within Speech/Language Pathology.
- Provide therapy services in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities, or Home Health Care.
