About The Position

Ultimate Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist at Autumn Lake at Cherry Hill in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) opportunities are available. The role provides rehabilitation to skilled nursing residents to help them express their needs, participate in daily activities, and manage swallowing difficulties. Compensation for SLPs is $43–$46 per hour; fellowship compensation is discussed during hiring. CFYs receive required clinical supervision, feedback, and guidance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active New Jersey SLP license, or eligibility for the appropriate state authorization to practice as a Clinical Fellow.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities to determine their needs.
• Create individualized plans of care with functional, measurable treatment goals.
• Deliver therapy addressing communication, memory, attention, and problem-solving during everyday tasks.
• Provide dysphagia treatment and coordinate swallowing recommendations with nursing and dietary colleagues.
• Involve residents, families, and caregivers in learning strategies that support progress between sessions.
• Maintain clinical documentation, monitor outcomes, and contribute to care transitions and discharge planning.
• For Clinical Fellows, develop clinical skills with required supervision, feedback, and guidance.
