About The Position
We’re looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Alma, MI on a PRN basis. If you enjoy building relationships with patients, working alongside a supportive clinical team, and having the flexibility of PRN scheduling, this could be a great fit. As an SLP, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with patients on communication, cognition, and swallowing needs while helping them maintain or regain independence.
Requirements
- Current Michigan Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused
- Ability to work effectively with patients and a multidisciplinary team
Nice To Haves
- ASHA certification preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and identify individualized speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs
- Develop and provide appropriate treatment interventions
- Help patients improve communication and functional abilities
- Address swallowing and dietary safety needs as appropriate
- Monitor progress and update treatment plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Communicate with families, caregivers, nursing, and other therapy professionals
- Participate as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team
