Position Summary & Highlights: We are seeking for a Full time Speech Language Pathologist o join our Rehabilitation Services team who specialize in providing a comprehensive treatment plan that includes specialized programming and an interdisciplinary team approach to help patients return to productive lifestyles.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with swallowing disorders OR extensive dysphagia management experience within internship/externship program required.
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist licensure or provisional permit issued by the State of Idaho.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate of Clinical competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association preferred.
  • Active membership within ASHA preferred.
  • Previous experience in Acute Care or Rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Providing speech therapy services to acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatients in compliance with policies and procedures established by the medical center and/or rehabilitation services department.
  • Providing quality care to individuals and families.
  • Participating in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of quality assurance programs.
