Speech Language Pathologist SLP Full Time
About The Position
AVIR at Cotulla, a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation center, is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join its in-house therapy team. The SLP evaluates and treats residents and patients with temporary or long-term speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities in compliance with state and federal guidelines. The role offers opportunities to develop programs in cognition, memory care, swallowing, aphasia, dysarthria, voice, and skilled maintenance. Vital Therapy describes itself as a growing network of more than 50 skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation facilities throughout Texas and Tulsa, Oklahoma, and offers ongoing training and career development opportunities.
Requirements
- Current Texas SLP license.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat residents and patients with temporary or long-term speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities.
- Provide care in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Develop therapy programs in areas such as cognition, memory care, swallowing, aphasia, dysarthria, voice, and skilled maintenance.
