SLP Speech Language Pathologist Full Time
About The Position
Vibra Hospital of Boise is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide and direct speech-language pathology services to patients. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, documentation, and communication. The position functions under physician’s orders. Vibra Hospital of Boise is a 40-bed critical care hospital in Boise, Idaho, serving patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. It provides acute care for medically complex conditions, including trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. Requirements
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or currently completing a Clinical Fellowship Year.
- Membership in the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
