About The Position

Provides speech/language pathology examinations and evaluations to determine prognosis, deliver interventions, and update plans of care. Assists the manager or supervisor with clinical and operational issues and works with the manager to improve processes and utilization of rehabilitation services. The position is per diem and on-site at Lippincott, 303 Lippincott Drive.

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
Current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
ASHA certification.
CPR certification.
For home care and early intervention staff: valid driver's license, current automobile registration, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

Consults with medical and ancillary professionals, other team members, and supervisors to provide high-quality patient care and effective operations.
Performs comprehensive evaluations and interventions, evaluates intervention effectiveness, and modifies plans of care as appropriate.
Completes evaluations, patient records, reports, and other written documentation effectively and promptly in accordance with regulatory and department guidelines.
Utilizes other support staff as appropriate.
Communicates with patients and/or family members or significant others, providing education and literature in line with the patient's age, physical condition, and cultural needs.
Assists the manager or supervisor with clinical and operational issues and collaborates with the manager to improve processes and rehabilitation-service utilization.
