About The Position

Carolina Therapy Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a skilled nursing facility in Laurinburg, NC. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in helping residents improve communication, cognition, swallowing function, and overall quality of life. Working collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and families, you will provide comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment plans designed to maximize each resident’s independence and well-being.

Requirements

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility)
Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for providing exceptional patient-centered care

Nice To Haves

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
Provide education and recommendations to residents, families, and caregivers.
