About The Position
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services across a large territory, covering multiple counties. The role requires travel throughout the region, which may take over 2.5 hours from corner to corner.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid Kentucky state license for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a similar setting.
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide evaluation and treatment for patients with speech and language disorders.
- Manage a caseload of up to 6 patients per day.
- Document patient progress and treatment efficacy using the Homecare Homebase (HCHB) charting system.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care in various settings, including acute inpatient, acute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, and home health.
