Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Home Health - Full Time
About The Position
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in home settings under the care of an attending physician. Home settings may include single-family or multi-family homes, assisted living, independent living, and memory care facilities. The SLP evaluates and treats patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders, and needs for alternative or augmentative communication. The role may involve working with patients who have experienced a stroke or who have progressive diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of employment.
- Possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Possess automobile liability insurance.
- Wear seat belts at all times while driving.
- Have dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
- Be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
