About The Position
Boothby Therapy Services is actively hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Royalton, Vermont for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers guaranteed pay, exceptional support, and a caseload that matches your interests. The role involves providing speech-language therapy services in school-based settings, conducting evaluations, developing IEP goals, and delivering direct therapy. The SLP will support students with various communication needs, adapt therapy approaches, collaborate with other professionals and families, and monitor student progress. Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP/CFY)
- Active Vermont SLP License or eligibility
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- School-based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred but not required
- AAC experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services in school-based settings
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions
- Support students with articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, social/pragmatic communication, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and AAC and assistive communication needs
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse age groups and developmental levels
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation
- Support students in achieving greater communication, independence, and educational success
