About The Position

PruittHealth is hiring a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) / Speech Therapist to provide therapy services in a post-acute care and skilled nursing setting in Forsyth, Georgia. The role focuses on helping patients improve communication, cognition, swallowing function, and overall quality of life. Compensation is up to $130,000 annually, based on experience, schedule, and location. The position is available full-time, part-time, or PRN, with a stay-and-earn sign-on bonus of up to $10,000. The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders; develops individualized treatment plans; monitors patient progress; maintains clinical documentation; and collaborates with care teams, patients, and families. Requirements

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
Foreign-trained applicants must possess credentials deemed substantially equivalent by an ASHA-approved evaluation organization.

Nice To Haves

CCC-SLP preferred.
Clinical Fellowship candidates considered where applicable.
Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Perform dysphagia, cognitive, and communication assessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
Monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers.
Educate patients and families on treatment objectives and outcomes.
